Finding the door
State Road 7 north through Margate, across the Coconut Creek line, into the Village Shoppes. No highway, no tricky turns, one road. The plaza is on the northbound side, so from Margate you are turning right into it, which is the easy direction on a divided six-lane road.
Where to park
Free plaza lot with plenty of spaces and no meters. Take the northern entrance off 441 and you skip the queue that builds at the main light. Spaces in front of the storefront row are usually open, even on a weekend afternoon.
How to pay
Debit, major credit and cash all go through at the register with no minimum. Rewards sign-up happens at the counter and the points work at all five shops. If you want to pay cash, bring it rather than planning on an ATM in the plaza.
Your side of town
Smoke Valley and Margate
From Margate Boulevard, Atlantic Boulevard or Coconut Creek Parkway, get to 441 and head north. There is no highway involved and nothing to navigate, which is why this is one of the shortest drives on our list.
South Margate, down toward Tamarac and Commercial Boulevard, is roughly the same distance from our Plantation shop. Take 441 or University Drive south to Sunrise Boulevard and head west to Pine Island Road if your day is taking you that way.
